My apologies I wasn't aware of this feature. Thanks

I think the bypass is Awesome and will get us moving faster. Lol.

Just my opine.

I heard the moderator chuckle too.

Nice areal view of the bypass progress. My grandson's dad drives one of those earth movers...I wonder if his rig is in one of the images?
Dude, leave people alone who are contributing. Also, what if his last name is Davidson? Why are you obsessing over people's usernames?

The Two cities -Toronto/Calgary aren't even CAPITALS (ignore all Caps)
If we are a Capital City we should look somewhat important.

The legislature is a nice Administrative building but if we are talking mixing Modernity with Old school we need a Tower.

But not an ugly space-needle thingamajig

This prairie is as flat as the moon and a tower would exhilarate us flatlanders.

Eye can see for kilometers and kilometers...
Truth be told, I have been thinking of a tower that can serve like that, in which it has a spiral staircase surrounding the column and you can walk up towards the deck.

The fountain restoration will include a LED display. I must say, looking at the park from above is impressive given that it was basically an abandoned yard with trees that hadn't been trimmed for many years. Great to see the restoration. It really is gonna be impressive as that area will be totally fenced in & replace the old practice field for pre AND post game festivities.

I certainly have fond memories of sitting on that grass and eating lunch during Buffalo Days, especially when the Confederation Building was still standing along one side, and Pemmican Pearl performed on the stage there. It will be great to see new life in the park.

When did they tear down the buildings and band shell type thing that was there?

I know it was there in the 80s, or at least for most of it.

Thanks for the details and photos. I didn't realize there was outdoor space overlooking the park. Is that restricted access to the lounges?

This is the balcony for the AGT Lounge which is very expensive - more than $300/game plus one time build fee of $2500. The Harvard GA Lounge is just below and has direct access to the park. It is free but capacity is limited to 500.

Reg: Complaints:

Let's keep the thread on-topic to the best of our ability please. Several posts were removed as they were unnecessary personal slights against other poster(s).Naming posters is not allowed either unless they choose to divulge their own names themselves. As mentioned by another poster previously use the report abuse feature below the post in question if you feel there is a problem rather than responding and creating more problems. Thx.

Sears Distribution Centre Demolition Permit

Probably cost a lot to rehabilitate, but sad nevertheless:

So far the arena is nothing more than speculation. No one wants to pay for it which is 99% of the work.

No photo updates, but I see a sign in the window of the Extra Foods saying "Store is officially closing April 27th. All items in entire store 30% off."
