Where should the construction cam for this project be placed?

(I'm guessing a courtroom in Toronto.)

Every so often, actually rarely, a proposal of this nature comes along. It not only entertains posters but educates as well. It would be sorely missed by many I'm sure. It would also leave a select few individuals no where to post at all.

I Don't see the point of really debating or arguing over whether this will be built or not.. I think people have good reason to be skeptical but lets just hold judgement until the middle of may or june before we start lambasting this company. I admire their ambition and im glad someone took a risk and wanted to develop something of this scale in our city. I'm sure they have good intentions they just need enough sales and support so this thing can go through right now it all depends on the demand.

Did Jawad Rathore and Vince Petrozza have good intentions when they ripped off a bunch of people's retirement money in their previous venture?

honestly I really don't want to get into this argument again but if you do your research and due diligence you will find that this company while not perfect has still helped erect many projects in the past. they currently partnered with many reputable developers and banks. If this company was as evil as you people seem to believe no one would put their name next to them. You people honestly need to stop being so judgemental and basing your opinion on them based on some lawsuits they had for one or two of their projects. This company has a huggeee portfolio and many projects on the go do not jump to conclusions this has been one of the biggest smear campaigns I have ever seen. You guys on here seem to be the only ones so outraged and critical of this company who has most part gone about things the right way. They need sales if the sales come it will proceed.

Yes, just like a ton of very reputable people lined up to defend Bernie Madoff...

Developers are happy to work with these scammers because it's not them that Fortress is ripping off. They're ripping off mom-and-pop investors. Heck, it wouldn't surprise me if most of these developers don't even understand or care where the money is coming from.

I received a briefing this morning regarding Sky City and furthermore received incredible information yesterday afternoon.

This afternoon the developments should come to a close and when I have the time likely later in the day I will inform you.

This is extremely big and likely will give you a clear indication where this project is going.

A major allegation involving a Sky City representative had been investigated by the Feds starting in September of 2016.

Sky City will be part of a newscast investigative story about real estate scams while exposing people involved.

Don't say that. I was so hoping Capital Pointe would become Regina's Ryugyong Hotel.

That said, I'm sure Hill or Harvard could pick up the lot for a deal and have a 16 to 20 story beautiful structure up by the end of 2019. Just give them the keys to the digger.

i hope it does go through still and get built...but i agree with you, should sell the land now and have some other developer get this going. Sky City also, give this to someone else that can plant a shovel in the ground.
