It's there. blue, white then red on a nice slant. But it's subtle. Then again, I lived there so maybe my RDF-vision is more acutely adjusted.

Also, I've seen those stupid-looking masks popping up more and more often, including in stores. They seem to be becoming a (highly exaggerated finger quotes) "fashion" item in the antisocial teenager subculture.

I was only in Vancouver for a week but I got to experience one of Skytrain's famous service interruptions. It only lasted a few minutes though.

My favourite transit malfunction story though is the time I was on an immobilized city bus, the sensor to detect when the door was closed failed somehow and the vehicle's limiter wouldn't let it go faster than 5km/h. After driving for a block, the bus stopped in the middle of the street and called for help. We sat there for about 20 minutes before a replacement bus showed up so we could continue. This happened 8 blocks from my house and I stayed on the bus the whole time because no one knew how long it would take to get going again and I didn't feel like walking.

My brother once missed a bus because it got T-boned as it was pulling over to pick him up.

I could see a redneck putting something like this in the bush so they could hunt in comfort. I'd be surprised if there isn't at least one town hall in this country where a camouflage pattern recliner is serving as the mayor's chair. BTW if those don't have a massage feature they're garbage imo.

Hey, camo, beards and, bigotry is still pretty popular across many walks of life.

Liberals are incapable of being bigots - they are after all universally virtuous creatures.

On the other hand, knuckle dragging, drooling and grunting are necessary requirements to becoming a conservative.

A stripper Castle? I must say that gives the Cat House in Calgary a run for its money.

I still think Sexe D'Or in Montreal is the funniest strip club I have ever seen. Even beats Super Sexe and one I saw in Paris called Sexo.

It's like they knew it sounded dirty so included the picture of the mouth. But they made the mouth as sexual looking as possible.

I didn't hear anyone mention political affiliations. Though what are the odds a hunting afficianado who bought camo la-z-boys from Bass Pro would be a leftie? Just like the teacher from Beavis and Butthead would never be a conservative. Some cliches are just true.

What is with SSP lately? Maybe you should read what I said instead of trying to see something that isn't there. Did I say they are mutually exclusive to one another? All three are popular trends that do often compliment one another. You can deny it. You can dismiss it as political posturing or political incorrectness. Doesn't make it any less real.

Are you perhaps not aware of beards and camo being fashionably acceptable? I'll leave the other to President Trump.

I think some areas of Northern Ontario actually do combine hunting/outdoors and 4x4 pickup trucks cultures with a tendency to vote left/NDP.

In Quebec that's the case as well in some regions (rural areas that vote left, for PQ/Bloc/Layton-Mulcair)
