Would love to see procura proceed with Cascadia. That whole on 109street needs to be something already to give it a more complete urban street feel.

@CMD - Procura has been one of the most active downtown developers... credit is due.

As for the revisions, TBD as I have not seen anything as of yet.

How long as Cascadia and Azure been kicking around....too long. I'll give them credit for Mayfair north and south and now WSP Place, but that's it. Don't get me started on Century Park or fantasy tower proposals like the Fairmont site(s).

Cascadia is long overdue, a gap in downtown that will completely change the look of 109. With Common and Central Social Hall, it is a pretty busy strip that needs some love and proof that retail can do good there.

And speaking for someone living in the core for decades ... retail will NOT do good there unless there is a rail stop behind this development.

I think about 1/3 of the Tower B site will amount to plaza space as well

^^^ Go back and forth between KR or Manulife being my fave Edmonton Tower.

Silly Hall or Coronation Pool, same conundrum for fave building.

Which makes sense, because as it stands the footprint of the site is huge. I take it the tower will be on most southerly portion of the plot?

I like what I'm seeing from Stantec thus far. The glazing appears to be more grey/charcoal than I envisaged and doesn't look to be a duplicate of City of Edmonton's tower regarding the colour.
