Did either of these ever get underway? Seems like I read they had scaled back the Hampton Inn or decided to phase the project.

There was also a proposal a few years ago for a Hilton Garden on Stratford, between the Paramount and the Mandarin Oriental.

While these smaller hotels are not architecturally earth shattering they do add some mid-market capacity near transit.

Coca-Cola has no incentive to make a move like that- especially since they spent multi-millions in multiple phases just to renovate their interiors of their campus. If anything they would probably build more on the southern end of their campus and/or sell of a part of it.

I had a business trip to Coke HQ about 2 years ago when they were in full renovation mode and what was already finished looked fantastic. From the outside the campus isn't much to look at but they've done a bang up job on the interiors. The Creative Department, where I spent most of the day, was incredible.

Building permits were filed for some new townhomes at 182 6th street, between Juniper and Piedmont (behind the Broadstone Terraces development).

I went a few months ago. They have some really cool wall installations with moving bottle caps turning into art. I don't see them moving either. North ave is going to be a great street once light rail comes, they should be sitting in a fine location in the future.

No city has outgrown development cycles-- its just a fact of life in the construction industry. As far Atlanta, signs may point to a slowdown but not a halt to development--

NAP at BeltLine/Dekalb Ave

Not sure if these are really updated renderings or not but clearer than the ones previously photographed and posted on IMGUR

I bet the beltline will save a ton of money waiting until this development is complete. Looks like a lot of site work and drainage/utility work will need to be done to the site and the developer will hand off the site to the beltline with most of that done. It would be nice if the developer offered to pave the sidewalk for ABI when finishing the site

I think the QT at the intersection of Howell Mill & Chattahoochee is getting started. The corner lot is fenced. Lots of traffic coming. But it's worth it (IMO). The other gas stations in the area are trashy.

Unfortunately, Coke just spent millions to renovate its dinosaur building.

Do we know when construction is supposed to commence? I am pretty excited for this and the studioplex projects. The two projects in conjunction with the small extension of the EST south of Irwin will go a long ways with foottraffic to Edgewood Ave. I empathize with those who live in Cabbagetown and Reynoldstown that want their extension connected in the near term, though.

However, I am wondering what the plan is for transit at the location with this development going forward.

ABC posted on their article it "could break ground this spring" after they get their permits.

They're moving a lot of dirt on the site now, but it's hard to know if that's for the Beltline trail buildout or the apartments. Presumably, it's the former.

The correct address is 165 6th St.

Broadstone Westside looks great. If that's brick, it's going to be a great looking midrise that actually takes the indsutrial character of the area into account. I have never heard of "Alta Atlanta Dairies" though. Where will that be built at?

I'm willing to bet that it's painted lap siding or fiber cement panels on the Broadstone Westside.

Also the Alta Atlanta Dairies will be right next to the Atlanta Dairies site on Memorial and Pearl Street. (It's annotated in the view) Memorial is the foreground street and Pearl Street is the side street sloping downhill.

Part of the Atlanta Dairies office portion of the project is the white box on the left of the image below. Note the bridge that connects the office to the parking deck. It's also shown in the other plan below from another view.

The multifamily portion is cut off from this earlier plan but the "office" box on the left side is the same white box as previously shown. The parking deck for the multifamily is shared with the rest of the project.
