Haha, funny how that works.

I agree that potholes should be taken care of as soon as possible, but given that this is an odd year in Vancouver the region probably doesn't have enough crews and equipment for the abnormal surge to deal with them all immediately.

Also, if this embarrasses you, then every other Canadian city would reaaallly embarrass you after winter.

I doubt it. That 216 street interchange won't even be finished by then, and that's just a simple interchange.

Odd, seeing how construction starts this spring and completion is expected in fall 2019.

Call me crazy, but that is far less than 5 years...

It also includes 4km of widening and the completion of the HOV ramps at 202nd street.

Where did you get your timeline? Or we you just making it up?

In any case, I think he's talking more Hwy 1 to Abbosford. Which probably depends on the level of development in Chilliwack and Abbosford.

We'll get there when it comes. We have bigger priorities at the moment.

So it does, even more telling is that you have to go back over two years to find a month in which the traffic wasn't the highest for that month compared to all previous years.

It would be interesting to know how much of this additional traffic is brand new and how much comes from the other bridges. It would give us some idea of how well people are coming to accept the toll.

Yeah, it's probably about time. That intersection gets pretty backed up at times for a simple 4-way stop.

Just noticed something concerning, if you're going eastbound on the SFPR how do you get onto the 91 connector?

Are they restricting that movement to keep people from piling onto the Alex Fraser?
