The neighbourhood? It's barely begun its transformation.

Park Avenue was better executed than the original Infinity towers. Area will improve as it continues to fill in.

"Neighbourhood" from street level last summer:

The streetscape has actually turned out quite nice. Preserved many of the mature trees along 100 Ave in front of the townhomes. The towers and townhomes also meet the street very well in an urban way.

Will be nice once the other side of 100 Ave develops.

That's also a nicely planted median (ignoring the garbage).

Park Avenue is clearly turning out better than its predecessors but I still think as a whole the neighbourhood looks bleak. Especially the skyline view.

It really needs more colour and architectural variation. The clump of towers near King George station look like they were taken right out of Hong Kong.

Well the neighbourhood is a work in progress that has just begun.

Will all come together and the cluster will not stand out like it does now once sites around it develop.

Of course it will. The Hub once built will add a lot of variety of architecture, height and colour to that cluster.

Exactly. That same dull monochromatic glint off all the towers is what really gets me. Of course that same shot taken at a different time of the year would look drastically better.
