I went to the McDonalds in Cqouitlam, on austin ave, that is testing 24 hr breakfast, it was around 3 pm and the drive thru was packed as was the parking lot, that location is never that busy in the many times I have been there. It seemed like most of the people were ordering breakfast items, I myself had a sausage McMuffin, I am so glad not to have to wake up at some ungodly hour to enjoy the food of the gods, lol. I love sausage mcmuffins.

That's odd. It's usually packed for breakfast.

New Yaletown Nuba restaurant opened at Richards and Davie, replacing a Blenz that used to be there. It is also replacing the old squeezy Nuba on Seymour at Davie. Looking nice, with a view of Emery Barnes Park, perfect for summer lunches.

I wonder what happened.

Quote:
However, the restaurant announced on January 29 that the extremely short-lived West End location has closed "due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control".

A new Tim Hortons opened up at 6th and Willow opened up in the space vacated by Starbucks. Smart move.

I just noticed this recently at Social Corner (at Smythe and Homer) and cannot figure out why they'd do this. The outdoor tables and planters are covered with artificial grass. Who in the world would want to eat off of a surface that could probably be really good at collecting dirt and bugs?!! I was thinking maybe they are temporary winter covers but someone told me it's been like this for months and they saw people eating off these tabletops last fall before the bad weather started.

It wasn't a franchise but the space is up for lease so the building isn't being demolished or something.

This large footprint (2000 sqft) includes a big kitchen, high visibility and tons of density, this is easily one of the most affordable entries to the prime Robson strip. The lease has just been extended to 2021 and at a base rate of $10K/mth is highly competitive with the market. Call today and come see the potential for yourself!

:?
Forget about bugs, I can see bird droppings on the second photo. Still my candidate for the place to be shut down in the next six months.
