You really think the Pope is building condos and office towers in winnipeg?
There's something like 11 churches in winnipeg trying to turn their land into private development to stay afloat. It's never supported by the global denomination
It's surprising they are not going after affordable housing grants. There's no subsidy for condos or offices. We all know how easy it is to find office tenants for class A in downtown Winnipeg. Tough to understand how church offices and a museum could pay enough rent for new high rise construction.
Good luck to them. I don't really get it but it would be great to see so hopefully they have a magic formula that nobody else has figured out. They hired an architect so that's good. Maybe it's Longboat developing it.
