I love that design.

Well done Shenglong Group, well done Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

The tall one should be around 800 feet, yes. The other one could be close to 600 feet, third one 450 feet.

Very interesting since that complex has less units than Metropolis.

I couldn't be happier. It also blocks the eyesore behind it.
That's how you use your land and make some money.

PS:

The Downtown Streetcar can't come fast enough.

10 years ago, with that projection of Downtown.. they would have called us crazy.. strait jacket... mental house.
So yes the cycle isn't over, it never was, but let's not be too harsh about that.

Mister HK should be the happiest guy of all of us. I was one of his biggest opponents, but I would welcome him back at any time.
Let's man up and forget about it. I reserved the third post of this forum and might create another "list" with all our projects (until he comes back).

I don't think we have those details yet, but with 800 condos I would imagine 55-60 stories? Forgot about that one. It's hard to keep track thankfully.

Eh, I think it needs more density and architectural variation. Most of the skyline-altering projects have multiple towers with similar designs.

That being said, the growth of the skyline is projected to happen at a much more rapid rate than I could've imagined even earlier this year.

Based on those floor counts (65/53/43), I guess the average ceiling height for each will be around 12 feet? This would yield heights of 780, 636, and 516 feet, respectively; the second tallest would be slightly shorter than Metropolis' tallest.

That's assuming the renderings are fairly accurate in terms of proportions.

In the case of Metropolis, Oceanwide, and now Olympia, it's the enormous size of the lots that's responsible for the Vegas-like scale of the projects. The monotony of the designs doesn't help, either.
