It was meant as a joke with the conversation about labeling images and Canada having too few skylines for requiring labels.

I agree with you but I don't think that Telus Sky will stand out that well from all Angle's it will look great/ Massive from several Angle's but because it is wedged somewhere between Brookfield Place & the Bow, it will actually likely block out Brookfield Place from being visible from @ least a couple Angle's.
(Take the last Photo I shared), it's likely going to Block Out Brookfield Place from that angle but it will be very visible & look huge from the 1st 2 Photo's I shared!

(Don't get me wrong Telus Sky is going to still be an awesome Skyscraper), but it's location will become a problem I'm sure of it.

Although I'm not a fan of the bow, my inner Edmontonian struggles to admit how nice Brookfield Place and Telus Sky are. They are definitely beautiful, and I think Stantec and JW Marriot will (hopefully) be on par.

The THREAD itself is great... not necessarily the skylines that get posted in it...

I post pix of Kitchener-Waterloo's skyline all the time and they are definitely not great... (skylines that is, I like to think of myself as an ok photographer

)

Only if you are too stupid to clue into all the other aspects that make language achieve higher levels of expression. The old 'semantic ambiguity' comment is a high school discovery. How about we go back to grade school and simply including 'context.'
