Lago is just another clunky tower in the park. The quality of finishes on both towers is pretty good but bad proportions.

As stated on mtlurb, this is not by any mean a serious proposal. Just a speculative ploy by a green zone land owner.

Give me a usable 8x10 balcony anyday over some 30x3 wraparound one.

And yea lago is way past peak-decorated-box. Edmonton one looks promising.

Love the manhattan-esque section of the Vancouver infill office tower. This is what "filler" actually looks like lol

Agreed, I like the new version of the Moncton proposal and the whole downtown redevelopment with the events centre should look real nice

Also love that Vancouver proposal. It's nice, clean, very "manhattan-esque" and I love how it breaks up but still seems to fit in between the two older towers on each side.... old-new-old

I don't think these renders were published in this thread before.

The NFB headquarters is one of the projects out of Montreal I'm most excited to see finished.

I quite like the typical floorplans at Encore below (with the exception of the diagonal space at the north units to cram in the unnecessary dining table). It kinda falls apart at the upper penthouse levels though.

Here's a small proposal for North End Halifax. The other elevations of the building not visible have more windows but there are no colour renderings for those sides.

That Montreal one above with the red stripe would sure look good within a block or two of that red balcony building in Halifax. Very complimentary styles.

This is what the building in front looks like now:

The parking to unit ratio is only 0.14 in this one.
I like this. Sensitive to the heritage building while adding something contemporary.

Yeah, same. It'd be kind of ugly as an airport hotel, but in context, it's nice enough. Plain enough to not distract from the older buildings around.

A little too short for it to be Mahatten-esque and ya it's one of many nice fillers a Ross the country.

Wouldn't this at 20 to 22 storey be more in tune to Manhattan infill making this rather tall?
