They won't give any detailed answers to completion date questions, and take anything they tell you with a grain of salt anyway. They were telling all of us "summer 2016" for the East tower right up until July when anyone with eyes could tell you it wouldn't be until at least late October or November.

With the current progress of the West tower, I wouldn't expect it to be completed until June or July of 2017. Of course they aren't technically "misleading" you. You could be in by June 20th, and it's still technically "spring." Could even be considered "early 2017" since we wouldn't be halfway through the year yet. 😂

When I was talking to the person that was going over the walkthrough with me, me mentioned he is expecting to do inspection for the West tower in June 2017

Going off of Shift's photos (which are greatly appreciated), it looks like the west tower is a little over 7 months behind the east tower, so I'd agree that June inspections are realistic.

Yes if I can get it with a reasonable tenant.

I am only paying $1,100 a month in a one bedroom sub penthouse in Ultra. Most one bedrooms in Ultra do not exceed $1,200 per month. $1,350 for one bedroom in Park Place is on the high end, but someone might bite.

Better bring that green tape with you and start taping the deficiencies. Kitchen cabinets should definitely not have any scratches or scuff marks - that is just sloppy.

The inspector that took us through had the green tape and marked things I probably would have missed, all minor and easily fixed. Overall I was quite impressed with the quality of finish.

Bosa is also substantially pricier.

It's all subjective. We compared Bosa and many others before we bought P.A. I found some Bosa features and finishing a bit R.V. like.

Both Concord and Bosa have their pros and benefits. PA was actually high on my second choice to purchase. That swimming pool sure is tempting.

Wow at 340K! Surrey is also starting to join the band wagon of the likes of Burnaby, Richmond, Coquitlam etc. to have these 300-350K plus one bedroom. Being a owner I'm happy to see this trend but it's getting more and more expensive for people just starting out.
