A higher standard of living than $1000 will get you in Vancouver/Burnaby/New West, and steps from the Expo Line, 35 minutes to downtown. This place is a steal.

University District one bedroom is being listed at $1300 and 2 bedrooms at $1800. I think this guy is listing it low. Even my eight or nine year old condo which I used to rent out was at $950. $1000 for a brand new and this good quality is practically a steal.

Nice glimpse of the amenity space and tennis court in the back. Looks pretty spacious and resort-like. Would be nice to see some more pictures of that.

yeah most of the outdoor amenities are still very much a construction zone and is expected to be complete with phase 2 in June 2016

I have to say it looks good too because we have the exact same suite closer to the top.

My tenant served notice to move out end of the month so I'm shopping for a new tenant in my apartment in Park Place 2, 21st floor (if anyone is looking to rent lol...). It was renting at $1100 (Just shy of 580 sq foot actual inside not including balcony) with custom added pantry, additional counter, and storage space.

I'll likely list at $1350 and see how it goes this month, so $1000 is way cheap. Either this person isn't looking to make any money as the mortgage + property tax + strata fees + insurance + income tax penalty alone will mean they are losing money yearly unless they put like 50% down or something.

Looks nice though, and I do like the fact they were able to get gas into there. That's the one thing I do miss is a gas stove as I love to cook and while I've gotten fairly good with the flat glass top stove, still not the same as a nice gas stove for getting food just right. I never liked the fridge design though because you're kind of stuck in the future and can never change it given they built custom cabinet faces and such. Would be a pain, but anyone buying today likely doesn't look that far in the future nor really care like I do.

Congrats it looks nice and glad you are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Still on pace though for starting move ins in December I'd imagine.

I find Park Place interior already dated a bit... like the cabinets and stuff. I think this custom integration for fridge is new generation in the condos , all the new concord projects do it, bosa does it, etc... or am I wrong?

With $1350 there might even be some room for a bit of profit there might I say?

I had my inspection today, A few chips and paint smudges, as to be expected, but I think overall they did a really good job.

So I got this info from one of the executives, "It takes at least 4 weeks to do inspections for the whole tower. And after the inspections there is still few weeks before they do completions."

With that said, had anybody been able to get something more than "early 2017 or Spring" for the West tower?
