A few extra trees should be (re)planted north of Fox when they do the Fox work in the spring; I wonder how long these have been like that? Hint, in front of Japanese Village.

Also, a nice new surface lot for 104st with access from 104st (versus just the lane) instead of an older apartment with 15-20 unique units.

Yes, I believe that is a major part of the issue. It seems like we have more than our fair share of 'inexperienced' developers.

And partially market... I wouldn't go near any of those buildings north of 104th, but I ended up "buying" in vibe... But there just wasn't enough sales and they switched to rental. If a quality building like that from a some what experienced developer (I say somewhat because I think carrington is mostly suburban wood frames?) can struggle to find buyers then of course Infiniti will also struggle in this market. Speaking of vibe... Pictures?

Passing through the Manulife pedway level is not very bottlenecked anymore - I think all they did was remove the huge planters. I *think* they moved the retail directory a bit, or maybe not. Obviously this in anticipation of the new pedway from KR opening sometime soon.

101 St sidewalk next to the COE tower is now partially open. Half of it is still closed due to ongoing work but at least pedestrians can walk past.

This blew me away while in London - bikes and motorcycles just squeeze through any space in traffic where they could fit, and right past gridlocked cars.

Here we really have no gridlock (despite what one might think by how drivers here complain about traffic), but we do have overbuilt, underutilized roads that can easily accommodate bike lanes without serious impact on traffic. Huge step forward, presuming we don't screw it up.

Agree, We can develop bike routes that are direct to the core and as you point out use the underutilized roads. Experiencing bikes and vehicles in most major cities, you realize how good we have it here riding. Loved being on a bike in Belgium though, bike paths were incredible there.

I'm sure they will finish a new system of connections to the High Level just in time for the High Level pedestrian paths to be closed for full life cycle and expansion. It is the Edmonton way.

The corner of 109 and Jasper has changed big time compared to what was there only a few years ago.
