The saddest part is I bet this was viewed as splurging on 'luxurious' and 'classy' details. Some might even find it 'fancy'... Shudder....

Look at the entire landscape it's in too. Soulless subdivisions and strip malls are one thing, but that street just looks like an empty hell.

The Convention Centre is a few blocks away on the same "strip". This whole scene leaves me shaking my head.

Lol! Come now, they have standards. They'd only use the soiled Depends as coffee filters.

It looks similar to the soulless Mississauga industrial parks I had the displeasure of visiting a year ago. What a depressing hellscape.

Port Hawkesbury, NS:

Queen Street, Port Hawkesbury

Can I get a power line over here? This is the main drag through the "downtown"/strip mall area
Reeves Street & Sydney Road

The area along Granville Street looks like it was a nice village main street type of stretch at one time. It's unfortunate that it seems the strip malls on Reeves Street have taken over everything.
