I concur, they are both unique in their own way. I love both but prefer the look of New Mosaic. As a Calgarian, I'd give up a testicle to have either one.

I went to the game at commonwealth tonight. First time since 2009 and let me tell you I was so impressed. It's basically a different stadium. First off the LED ring just adds such a modern element to the place. The scoreboard is massive and Crystal clear even from far away. The running track isn't really a big deal, really the field doesn't actually seem far away and it looks 100x better painted green. The game was awesome 35,000 in attendance it still felt a bit empty I found myself visualizing how they could drop the seating by 10,000 or so instead of watching the game. The new loge area was completely sold out on one end and about 80% on the other. They have a field level standing room/party deck sort area on the scoreboard endzone that seemed to be the place to be. The new training centre area just makes the place feel big league. where commonwealth needs work is facade and concourse. The stadium itself is beautiful and I forgot about massive the place is, oh and the new seats are wide as hell. really had a great time another thing I found interesting is that they refer to it as "the brick feild" no mention of commonwealth during the game. all in all I would say that stadium hasn't even reached 50% of its life span. They have kept it up really well. And after walking around a bit I really began to notice just how modern it is.
. Hoping to check out rogers place tommorow

Wow, Rogers Place looks amazing! Can't wait to go to Edmonton in January (<never thought I'd utter that phrase!) for the Flames game on HNIC.

Oh the times are changing

We went and saw our seats today. This facility's pretty cool.

Are those your seats?!

Rogers Place looks really next-level compared to the rest of the Canadian NHL rinks. Mind you, it has been a few years since the real NHL building boom took place, so it's not surprising that the 20 year old rinks from the mid-late 90s would look a little underwhelming next to the latest and greatest.

^^ Yeah. They were not our first choice tho. A little to close to the action and right behind the glass. Will be cool to hear the Oilers spout off insults to the other team up close! We will probably change them next year if we can. 6 or 7 rows higher.

^ Yeah, I could understand. First few rows are not necessarily the best in terms of viewing angle, but they do give you a perspective on the game and individual players that TV simply can't match.

I'll look for you on TV

I will go to a handful of games, but most tickets go to clients and some other family members who want to see certain games.

Hopefully we'll get some close-up shots of the tears streaming down his face the next time the Jets are there!

This could happen. The Jets have a really good team. Big strong and fast.

If I was a betting man, I would say the Oil won't make the playoffs again this year. It's a better team obviously than last year. But Im guessing 2017/18.

I want to be wrong on this

I wasn't going to come out and say it, but now that you mentioned it...
