New co-op under construction a few blocks west of River District on E Kent.

Not sure what this crane is for but it is just west of the co-op on E Kent.

I was on Dunbar Street the other day so I took some pics of the former Stong's Market site, now in the early stages of excavation (first three pics below). I believe the rendering above in officedweller's post is what it is supposed to look like when completed.

The last two pics are of what I think is Ivy, also on Dunbar and where the new Stong's Market will open.

A short blurb on density discussion for the former RCMP E-Division lands near Oakridge. I'd forgotten the Musqueam were involved in that site as well:

That is a huge piece of land, and is on one of the highest parts of the city. The units will have great views, even on lower floors.

Surely they can extract enough money from the developers to fully fund the 33rd Ave station.

Hopefully with whatever happens on that site they don't demolish the heritage building.

Yes, there is no way this should go ahead without a station being part of the package.
