Can't see BC Place anymore... kind a sad. It look so pretty while it lasted.

1. Waterfront of Olympic Village (days numbered due to Plaza of Nations redevelopment, can still have partial view if viewcones removed).

2. Georgia Viaduct (days numbered if Vision have their ways).

3. Own a suite in a nearby condo (get ready to foot out a 6-figure downpayment)/ or rent.

4. Send up a drone.....

More finishing touches. I was wondering how much of the space under the bridge ramp they were going to leave open. The lower ceilinged areas are getting fenced off. Also, I bet the landscapers are thanking their lucky stars that we've had such gentle weather for new plantings the last few weeks (or months). Most of the ivy, bushes, trees and grass are looking very healthy.

This project really delivered! Great attention to detail (except for the inneryard spandrel) and the pool is certainly a unique thing.

I just hope the taller tower on the other side of the bridge will deliver as well. I am still mourning over them changing the spandreal color. Haven't they seen how much better black spandrel would look, just like it does on One Pacific? Whoever made that decision is an idiot.

I don't know whether the developer has in fact acquiesced to the recommendations (or demands) of the UDP and changed the original proposal or not (e.g. the model with the bland spandrel may have been an early prototype, not a post-UDP revision.) But it was definitely the city-created Urban Design Panel which criticized the use of the darker, bolder spandrel as presented in the final proposal for The Arc because the panel was apparently concerned that it created homogeneity, if you can believe that. That's right. Two towers with an alternative colour palate to puncture a vast ocean of "seafoam green" towers, all of which received the UDP's stamp of approval, and they profess to be concerned with the creation of homogeneity! LOL!

I can imagine the City only allowed the shorter towers to go darker-hue, but wouldn't stand it if it were taller. The Arc would be substantially taller, so I guess the City in their dumb stubbornness will require it to be seafoam.

I think Goodlife fitness might be moving into this building, saw a couple people holding Goodlife fitness bag walking in.

Given they don't have any location in Yaletown and had open one similar at Sovereign building in Burnaby, I think it is a very high chance they are moving in.
