No this is their very cool project on Howell Mill Road.

Keep in mind that 880 West Peachtree was approved for final Bond resolution I believe sometime last year. So while this is some progress, it could still be a while before these projects move forward, if at all.

Edit: I just checked and it was approved in October of last year along with Alta on the Park and 1270 Spring Street. Basically it just means that when / if the developers get all their ducks in a row and decide to move forward, they can take advantage of the tax breaks.

Understandable. This is great news, either way. Even only one of the towers would create a lasting impact on the city. Add it in with all the residential development going in nearby and Midtown Atlanta should feel like quite an active urban area.

As Atlanta continues to bustle with high-rises filling in the empty lots, I hope we continue to see more low & mid-rise infill on arterial roads and main drags around residential neighborhoods.

What is Yoo on Peachtree?

I'm guessing there will be no updates on Eviva?

I believe Eviva already had its bonds approved by that committee.

Yoo on Peachtree is AKA 1138 Peachtree. When originally proposed, it was 51 floors, 39,000 sq. ft. of retail, and 370 residential units. Location is the parking lot just south of Opera. Design was potentially released in conjunction with the SLS hotel rendering, although not confirmed.

My guesses...

7th & peachtree - Start by August end
3rd & peachtree - Start by September end
Eviva - Start by October end
98 14th - Start by September end
880 W Peach - Start by July end

Anyone want to take a stab at projections on these?

I have noticed in some windows of the 880 W Peach building are some moving boxes but I never paid attention if they've been there all along or is recent.

98 14th I would say no because it hasn't even hit permitting yet.

http://atlanta.curbed.com/2016/6/29/12060500/emerson-buckhead-condos-fresh-renderings-details Jarel Portman commented in this article that they close on the Peachtree and Third property in the next few weeks, so I would expect it to start after that occurs since they have permits filed already.

A whole lot of interesting planning permits filed in the past few days. Under-the-radar stuff happening all over town.

88 Jackson St (NE of MLK MARTA station, in Beltline overlay) filed for re-zoning for a mixed-use building.

Adaptive re-use SAP filed for two brick buildings near Inman Park station on DeKalb, "renovated to house a mix of office retail and restaurant spaces."

Development plans filed for 15 lot residential development at 1830 Johnson Rd NW, near Westside Reservoir Park and the future Beltline NW trail.

Consolidation of three lots in Castleberry Hill filed. The address isn't listed, but based on the parcel number it's the wedge of land between Peters street and the railroad tracks, across from the intersection with Haynes Street.

Something going on with CODA and the Medical Arts building. Is a transfer of development rights needed for GA Tech to build CODA? Two related permits filed.

Permit filed for development of 60 4-story townhomes on Northside drive just north of Deering Rd.

In Candler Park, filed rezoning for a mixed-use planned development on McLendon.

Zero lot line confirmation filed for 345 Glen Iris, at Ralph McGill. Probably for the Square at Glen Iris.

Ponce City Market up for a National Register nomination.

Zoning permit filed for mixed-use development at 202 Milton SE. Adjacent to the Beltline. I think this is a former school, and could be a really neat redevelopment.

I've posted before I believe but I've been told 7th/Peachtree will break ground in August. Eviva still has property line dispute issues and has stalled as of now. I know there is one or two who worked on the Eviva design on this board and would be interested to hear if they're still progressing with work, but I'd guess no.

Creative Office Building Breaks Ground In Old Fourth Ward

Tecton Builders and Cross-Town Realty have broken ground on The Willoughby, a new 60,000 square foot standalone creative office building, located on Willoughby Way behind Historic Fourth Ward Park's skate park.
The new building will house four floors of creative office suites ranging from 2,100 square feet to entire floors of 13,000 to 15,000 square feet. Floorplans will feature unique suites as well as customizable full floors, according to a statement issued Thursday.
The Willoughby will boast a 3,800 square foot covered rooftop patio with a bar/kitchenette for entertaining, fantastic skyline views, a communal break-room space, gigabyte connectivity, private bathrooms with a shower (for all those pedestrians and bicyclists), ample natural light in each office suite and free underground tenant parking.

That 60 lot development off Deerinrg Road could be awesome for the area. We've been hurting for more places people can own in such close proximity to the center of town. This location will only get better over time.

Also- that office bundling's garage is still horrendous.

I know people involved in the Eviva project and word on the streets is that they are waiting to see the initial velocity of lease agreements made at Trace and Alta Midtown properties. If those two fill up quick, expect some dirt to turn.

I don't love the look of that building.

So for Azure the back end of the building is just being painted a dark gray color. Looks decent enough.

SAP permit filed today for new residential construction at 314 Boulevard SE (just south of Cabbagetown). Anybody know what this is?

The building from this perspective doesn't look like could it accommodate more than 50 people.

I thought the same thing, but i looked it up and saw that it's a fairly deep building.
