All cleaned up now. The only damage seems to be to one of the newly planted trees.

Where they were digging up the sidewalk on Robson today is exactly the spot where I was saying would be a good place to relocate the public washroom to (the one that is currently right in front of one of the entrances on Robson).

They painted it or something. It has to dry for 10 days and then the fountains will be back on.

The sparse planter behind the "S" is the one that was cut back and replanted.

If they do, I guess that would be par for the course, snime they've already finished the sidewalk around the old washroom - gotta pull it out and redo it!

Thanks for the update.

I wonder whether the tree singed by the fire will be okay. It didn't look too bad, but I am no arborist.

Once, the lane is open to the public you will see portions of the lane way which have bricks across the lane rather than poured concrete throughout

Saturday Jun 11th was the first day buyers have taken possession of their units. People are now living in TG. Expect to see approx 20 units completing per business day moving forward

The common areas such as the gym and pool areas are still under construction and will likely be finished Sept

I recall someone predicting there'd be rocks.

Just wait until they become covered in algae.
At least the tiles could be scrubbed.

I'm imagining that the boss said "Okay, now we want to cover the pipes and cables with rocks." And the guys working on it (Jethro Bodine and Gomer Pyle*) did precisely that. Just the pipes and cables. The boss didn't say anything about covering the other areas with rocks.

..

Looks great!

I wonder what's next...

It being Sunday I was able to walk through the driveway between the Kingston Hotel and the office tower and have a look at the alley (first two pics). The last two pics are looking north from Robson Street.

Bromine or a similar product are used on most water features to eliminate that issue. Pretty sure Westbank has other water features.

Was the plan to have seating or something in the alley or just a walk through space? It's very dismal at the moment, the original iteration had large hanging lamps and a green wall on the old WF building, whats happening with the alley now?
