It's the garage that's the problem. Where did they come up with that ugly beige paneling when the two adjacent towers are silvery glass? Brandywine did a fantastic job with these three towers but kinda, sorta marred it with that butt ugly garage. Maybe one day in the near future, they can reclad the exterior to be more cohesive with Evo and FMC.

As for Evo, it's biggest "problem" is that it happens to be next door neighbors with two stunning towers. It's still a very nice building.

Agree on the garage. By the way, they're altering the south side of it with what appears to be a glass elevator shaft. I caught a glimpse driving down Walnut yesterday. As for Evo, it looks like a small pox survivor, what with the facade "divots" and mottled appearance. I just think the weird cladding will look dated in no time.

Yeah, they need to "dress up" the garage in some fashion. I just parked in the 8th Street Parkade for the first time yesterday (I usually street park around there). I might've been more restrained if I were in charge of the design (again, a look that might not stand the test of time), but it definitely has a fresh and lively appearance now. About as well as can be done with a mammoth garage.

From the photos posted yesterday, I count 2 more to go (as of when those photos were taken, of course). Also, note that the core forms have been removed, i.e., the core has been topped out.

^^Thanks. So floors up to the top of the core as it stands now, then the crown structure, I suppose. I recall that the latter was to be substantial.
