Moving on to actual ugly buildings. Here's Calgary's Ikea in Deerfoot Meadows.
I have spent countless hours trapped in this horrible hamster maze buying furniture for my home and office. Some Ikea furniture is actually decent and you can't beat the price, but dear God is it an exhausting experience. First you have to navigate that horrible store and fight crowds of people being funneled through it like cattle, then you have to locate the pieces in the ginormous and confusing warehouse where no one can ever be present to help you, then you have to get it to your car and load it, then you have to assemble it with their hieroglyphics inspired instructions. Awful from start to finish.
True story: I once saw a family going into Ikea here wearing head to toe matching camo.
