Can someone post a list of all the buildings currently under construction, proposed, and the ones that are approved but haven't started construction?

Wow, nice plans for the Domain, finally some height! And that Pleasant Valley apartment complex is very nice IMO.

Domain 8 is 167 feet with 11 floors, according to the site plan. At that height it would be the tallest building outside of downtown, south shore, west campus and the UT campus - so taller than anything outside of the central skyline. These are sure to be taller than Domain 8.

I would be surprised if there wasn't another full service hotel somewhere in there as well.

Curbed has posted a downtown Austin construction map. Most of the information is already covered in this forum, but it's a nice format for an easy-access map.

I also love pic 3, but pic 1 is kind of depressing.

So what becomes of foundation park (Now "Hope Gallery")? Or am I misunderstanding the location of this. I know there's a significant structure being built just in front of it but these plans look like they're right where people do the graffiti artwork.

This is to the west between Blanco and the 'Castle' with the graffiti park being to the east between the 'Castle' and Baylor.

State Hospital to be sold? This could be huge.

The Health and Human Services Commission is holding three hearings in June
to obtain input from stakeholders and the public as part of a study
required by Senate Bill 200, 84th Legislature, Regular Session, 2015. The
input will be considered in the statutorily mandated study to determine the
feasibility, costs, and benefits of transferring operations of the Austin
State Hospital to a new location. Per legislative request, the Austin State
Supported Living Center will also be included in the study. A report of
the findings is to be submitted to the legislature by September 1, 2016.

Public hearings will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. on the following dates and
locations:

· Wednesday, June 15, 2016 ̶ Texas Health and Human Services
Commission, Brown-Heatly Building, 4900 N. Lamar Boulevard, Public Hearing
Room 1410-1430, Austin (webcasting available)

· Monday, June 20, 2016 ̶ San Marcos Public Library, 625 E.
Hopkins Street, San Marcos

· Wednesday, June 22, 2016 ̶ Bluebonnet Trails Community
Services, 1009 North Georgetown Street, Round Rock

There will be a three-minute time limit per speaker on public comments.

Depending on what they define as the "hospital", this could be massive. If it's everything from 45th to 38th excluding Central Market, etc, this would be a massive massive boost to the Lamar corridor (and a big sell for rail along that route). Would love to see The Triangle essentially extended south.

I can't imagine why they would keep part it. There is so much value in that entire property.

Hyde Park NA will fight this for years!

They'll want mixed density in this area, yes, but I think they'd love getting rid of the negative spillover from the crowd that a government hospital typically brings.
