Yeah. I didn't think of locking them. Years ago though I suggested that an annoying, constant tone/alarm should play. So the window can be opened if it's an emergency, but if opened during normal operation it'll piss people off until closed again.

Without some sort of negative consequence for opening windows people will keep doing it. My anecdotal observation from riding the 9 is that 33-50% of the new XDE60 passing by, someone's opened the windows ignoring the label and defeating the purpose of the A/C.
