I am born and raised in Berlin.
L.A.'s public transportation is far away from being a real help.
We will need more railway and trains in the future. The Expo Line is already really busy, Metro will monitor ridership and make changes as needed.
Metro is already in the process of acquiring more light rail vehicles and should get them until the end of 2016.
Public transportation works fine in other cities, I know we are different.
L.A. has a good highway system, we will never be like Berlin or New York and that's not necessary, we just need to find a balance.
We should provide some options for everybody.
It will be a long process, but it's a start.
