To answer cyro's question, I think any development is fair game for a new thread but some are obviously of more interest than others. Something like We Lofts is definitely fair game for a new thread.

Can't hurt, I'd like to see it..
We Lofts may be one that someone could start..

Every project is fair game, although no hard and set rules will be implemented.

Yes, as long as threads are formatted within the guidelines of SSP and still subject to moderation, duplication of similar content in multiple threads happens here on a regular basis

Agree that there are many threads that are off-topic/chatty. It really comes down to posters taking the time to find the topic related thread, this doesn't always happen here. But more project related threads would be a welcome change.

I think it works fine. Threads for major projects that take a long time to complete and create a lot of discussion...this thread a catch all for everything else that warrants less discussion.

I don't think it's necessary for every project as well. As long as posters take the time to find the specific thread when it's availble, not throw every thing into the Construction thread. Some order, rhyme and reason is needed.
