Do you know how tall Tower 4 is going to be?

With towers 4 and 5 I think height is not the most important question, but the design. The first three towers are all going to look almost identical, so I really hope next towers will introduce some variation. Otherwise the whole complex is in risk of looking very repetitive and boring once completed.

I vaguely remember somewhere there is a community center, which is suppose to be built before T3 completes. Is this T5 going to be home of this community center? If the original plan was preview T5 not till late 2017,how can T5 be completed before T3 .... assuming the community center is in T5.

I believe the community centre is in the podium for the tower in the north west corner. You can see it on the leasing plans. On level 3, where Zellers used to be (but apparently one level higher, connected to the tower podium by a plus-fifteen) it shows of what look like basketball courts.

I don't remember tower numbering, but as I recall the middle tower along Willingdon (Tower 3?) was delayed due to negotiation with the city about the community centre, which is why the third tower sold was the middle one along Lougheed (Tower 4?).

I spoke to a city planner about the community centre at the Gilmore project open house. I asked him about a rumour I believe I saw on here about a swimming pool. He said no, it's too difficult to put a pool on an upper level. He did say something about two courts or gyms overlooking the street. He also said it would be a while before it was complete, on the order (if I recall correctly) of 8-10 years. I'm not holding my breath for it, what with Evergreen, Phase 1 and Willingdon Linear Park coming in the next three years.

Eileen is also really gross. When I did my training to become a lifeguard I asked which pools were the dirtiest and the lifeguard said Eileen and the new pool at Edmonds.

I think that's because Willingdon Heights and Edmonds are more family friendly, so obviously more kids, doing their business.

Brentwood should get it's own pool since the area has less kids (I assume since the residential is in apartments) and its Eileen can get crowded sometimes since its the only place to swim in North Burnaby.

(Also if you do go swimming in Burnaby CG Brown is the cleanest one.)

What are the expected completion dates for the first three towers? Did i hear somewhere, possbily this forum, that the completion date for the first tower was pushed out by 6 - 12 months from the original ? It would be great to have that retail operational sooner rather than later for sure

Please no. I want back my direct walk to the train! And I really miss Kin's market. Driving to Safeway for a missing vegetable sucks. The last dates I remember for Phase 1 were Q1 2018 completion, Q3 2018 opening.

Too difficult to put swimming pool on higher level? That is just an excuse... Look at how many hotels has roo top swimming pool.
Never mind, I guess they never meant to put swimming pool in " Amazing Brentwood"

Hotel swimming pools are usually tiny. The cost and complexity of putting a 25m 10-lane pool for a community center on an upper level or rooftop is a lot higher.

Large roof-top hotel pools are common in Asia and Europe.

The reason that the Roundhouse Community Cnetre has no swimming pool is because all the surrounding condos already have swimming pools - and the aquatic centre is somewhat close by.

What about Creekside? Only a few buildings in OV have pools from what I know.

Not sure, maybe proximity to the new Hillcrest (similar 2010 timing)?

Roundhouse doesn't have a weightroom either, just a gymnasium.

For anyone who might be interested, I saw a sold out sign on the sales centre today ("1,400 units in 21 months," more in spring 2017), which I don't remember last time I walked by.
