Love the Hamilton proposal. I could see that being very attractive to buyers from Toronto, Hamilton's version of foreign investors. That Calgary proposal looks very sharp as well. How tall is it?

More like dumped on Hamilton. Same with the Lancaster and M4. Now an Inukshuk stands in its place. The city's excuse was the site was selected for a overflow holding tank and the costs were too great to dismantle, store and, do the necessary restoration. BTW, Those tanks are unbelievable.
At the time Sheila Copps was Heritage Minister and got Parks Canada to take Haida away from Ontario Place for $5 million repairs and permanently docked at Hamilton.
Once the 'quartier des gares' is developed (let's give it a solid decade), I sincerely hope it will be the east's turn to re-develop. So many huge under-developed sites with great potential: Radio-Canada, The eastern edge of the old port, the sector around the Jacques-Cartier, in and around the Molson Brewery, around the soon to be covered highway...
