The Edmonton skyline has long been way underrated. Now it's looking really bulky. Add a stand-out tower like Stantec and it's gonna be insane.

There were thoughts of retaining it for peds/bikes or a restaurant, but no, it is going to be demolished.

Stantec should be visible behind the CWB tower there, in 2-3 years. JW Marriott may also be visible, but probably not.

With everybody always trying to pump their city up as much as possible, it's weird that we don't see that angle of Edmonton more often. Edmonton's core looks on par with Calgary there (sans height).
