Based on Google Earth, it's a whole 20 feet wide. If you look in the Google Earth images, there's a white pickup parked next to it in the alley, and it almost looks big compared to the building.

That's insane. It is amazing what can be done with a skinny lot. I feel like that is where architectural ingenuity can really shine.

The CVC determination for the Radisson at Congress & Cesar Chavez was completed. If anyone cares to decipher the info it's the first of the three
attachments to the filing. The CVC affected is #6, Congress & Live Oak. If I'm interpreting the info correctly, the height of the wing of the hotel on Congress is pretty much maxed out - but a few floors could possibly be added.

It'll be a white building of about 30-stories.

I lurk on Shaggybevo, and The Cruiser seems to be at least somewhat in the know, like scraperwill here on SSP.

This was a scuttlebutt I heard about on shaggy in January. Apparently, Cielo was looking to sell the garage or develop it. Didn't find a buyer, but as of January were close to being under contract with an out-of-market buyer who could be an equity partner.

The thought was VMU on the garage site. If they can get the Fox7 building, whose satellites would be blocked by a highrise, they would probably go office on the site. The other little building I threw in because I just assumed they'd have to buy it too.

I have also heard that 823 Congress is under contract to a potential equity partner, with Cielo staying invested in the property. Below are screen grabs from the marketing materials for 823 Congress that show the redevelopment potential for the parking garage at 900 Brazos.

I've been amazed by all the cool lighting that gets lit up especially on Friday and Saturday nights. When everything's on all over downtown, it's pretty slick.

The 900 Congress marketing material wasn't working for me until they dropped that killer box-tower concept, then I was like, yeah, if I had me a billion dollars, I'd build that. Just like that. Not that I can personally design imaginary skyscrapers for use in brochures, but this one... I think even I could have done better, and even though it's meaningless in terms of what's eventually going to be built there, ya'd think they could afford an extra $10 for some kid with an imagination to insert something visually appealing on that spot. Nice spot for another tapered tower, for example.

I know you're being facetious, but it's just a massing. Only meant to show how much square footage can be fit. I agree that it'd be cooler if their massings had some originality, but they almost never do.
