And yes it fills the significant gap between CN/ EPCOR and the rest of the downtown quite nicely when seen from a vantage point like McNally or Rowland Rd

Wasn't able to snap a picture because I was driving, but noticed today that the Hendrix is making a nice impact on the western side of the skyline. Much taller than anything around it.

I wish. I found the news devastating. I love great architecture and found much to be inspired by her designs. I wish the local design community would pay tribute to her (and local) in "talks". Architects shape our world and their contributions should be recognized.

Is it going to be a library, or just a fancy day time hangout for street rats and — heads?

Oh you.

It is going to be far more than I had imagined in terms of space use.

Congratulations Ken Cantor for creating a fabulous music venue in the Grand lobby of Epcor Tower. Also for the addition of the Bosendorfer –Oscar Peterson Edition Piano. Last night was a great intimate evening. Very rare to be that close and personal with 2 great artists. Hope we can see more incredible musicians in the future, and the ghost of Oscar Peterson at the keys of that Piano.

Something residential. Rental related perhaps. Has their zoning already. Could be Augustana, but I hear they are looking for an equity partner. Could be the Healy site tower(s).

Mezzo off whyte goes to Council on April 18. If you support new housing stock, density, some height, a variety of built form etc. I encourage you to write to Council, Sustainable Development etc.

Refer to items 5.3 and 5.4

you're welcome...

we had a great time as well and a great deal of support from everyone associated with the event. kelly peterson left for her new home in toronto this morning, bossendorfer's marketing manager will be headed home this afternoon and adam zukiewicz is on his way back to greely. based on their reactions to the evening and the city, we have collectively made some new ambassadors for edmonton.

and that "we" includes you and everyone else who was in attendance last night that contributed to the ambiance and the event and the tommy banks performing artists' fund at the edmonton community foundation.
