Great to see Lon LaClair get the job. I've met him a few times over the years, seems like a hard worker with good intentions.

I interviewed Lon as part of a masters program project. He will be a great head of transportation.

The city is at a turning point which is why I think people are so upset. The next step for Vancouver is to become a much more pedestrian and cycling friendly city. I've been to places like Vienna with their pedestrian only precincts and I think why do I have to fly all this distance to enjoy an urban realm of such quality.

I think we can do it here; it will take some courage though.
