The low-lying soil around Highway #1, down where they are built, is less stable than up the hill towards Lougheed. Soon after they were built a neighbour of mine said he saw subsidence on one of the pillars at the corner of Gilmore and Dawson. I believe the soil is also why the southern part of the Woodlands project is park and lower buildings.
