I really hope BIG moves forward. That's what Pittsburgh needs! Maybe they can propose something colossal for the North Shore. It doesn't necessarily have to be a thousand footer, but something better than suburban schlock!!

I'm happy that so much is changing in Pittsburgh, particularly on the long-neglected and largely undiscovered riverfronts... but I do hate to see the wholly Steelers/Pirates-serving development of the North Shore. Now, I'm not expecting pure gold over there or anything... it was a sea of parking lots after all, and what is there now is certainly better than that. And there is still enough undeveloped land there to significantly improve on what exists currently, rectifying the big miss on the great development opportunity there.
I'm crossing my fingers for the Perkins+Will development on the Hazelwood riverfront to move forward.
