Moving towards the centre of downtown, we now have the SHED, and of course, TNS and SkyCity.
While there have been discussions, we have not seen any vignettes showing what south main can become.
The city hall/RRC cluster may be in for some exciting changes, such as demolishing the PSB and linking the abandoned northern part of the exchange with the more popular southern portion.
There remains much to develop around Waterfront, Higgins, Disraeli, Main, and hopefully the museum expansion and Sport Manitoba's developments will attract more residential projects.
There are also a number of surface lots in the west exchange that are screaming to be developed.

The good news is that much of the true downtown core is starting to fill up with development... we're seeing fewer of the large multiblock stretches of surface parking and just the odd block here and there. Seeing the Sutton Place and Skycity developments go up will have a major impact on that.
It's really the areas on the fringes of downtown where you see vacant lots or buildings at the end of their economic lifespan. That's where the development is needed.
