As stated, not scheduled anymore. We do get the odd substitute, in fact tonight one of the red eye flights arriving from YYZ is a 77W.

I think it will be less likely in the future. Air Canada is re configuring all the 77W aircraft. They use to hold 349 passengers. The new configuration holds 400 or 450 passengers.

Hmm, I thought AC had decided against converting all 77W's to the HD configuration?

No, all the original 77W with 3-3-3 Y are getting new interiors, including Premium Y and Y is moving to 3-4-3. Total pax = 400.

The 777HD 458-seater are being converted to 450 seats (new J class).

The 77L is also moving to 3-4-3 and adding premium Y, total 300 seats.

Any update on when the new International Terminal is expected to open? The latest info they had was: "terminal is on track to be completed in 2015 with a
fall 2016 opening."

Here is the latest newsletter from Q4 2015, very interesting read with pictures:
http://www.yyc.com/Portals/0/ADP%20Q4%20Final_compressed.pdf

On the YYC website they also mentioned they will be looking for volunteers as part of the trials process. That would be really interesting, I can't wait to stand in line! .... Actually it does sound awesome

Discounts weren't that huge. On par with other airline orders. BBD is in no position to simply give away aircraft...

Correct. The C series sells on its merits, and the list price compares well to the competition, likely helped by the Canadian dollar. It is not a bad aircraft and AC is not going to purchase planes that do not make sense for it.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next sale is to Air Mali and Air Uganda.

Normal airplane discount is 25-30% off list price. The AC Cseries discounts were at least double that amount. Additionally BBD picks up the tab for heavy maintenance facility in AC backyard, that is worth millions in cash savings.

On the noncash savings, the Federal government has told AC not to worry about losing dormant international route rights to other Canadian airlines.
