They poured the concrete today for those "steps" or whatever they're going to be.

I wonder how the inside are developing? The main lobby looks like is coming together with most glass wall being put up. Anyone have zoom lens to get a closer look into the building's development?

The outside looks really nice, I wonder how the balcony fence would affect how it looks now?

Pretty mediocre.

Good question. I just realized looking back at the pictures that there doesn't seem to be one piece of balcony glass (or railing) installed anywhere yet. Still a lot of work to do.

A before and after. Note the buildings in the distance on the left.

Nice comparison.

I really hope that fence is temporary...

It was pretty quick, but standard for most residential buildings in the city. What is noticeable is how slow the casino next door is. It was only about 1-2 months behind on digging for the parking structure.

Yah, this building actually went up quicker than most. I believe the Casino was suppose to be schedule to finish around the same time in early 2017.

the 60/40 vertical split in the window wall make my eyes bleed. Is making it 80/20 (aligned with the curtain wall) so prohibitively expensive?

Could you clarify what you mean with "vertical split"?

I think he means those windows where the space above and below the horizontal mullion is allocated 60/40.
Not all of the windows shown have that ratio, mostly the "solarium" ones.

It also looks like it has been used where there's an operable window so the window doesn't come close to the floor. If an 80/20 split were used for those with windows, a second higher mullion would be need for the window opening.

That ratio is particularly irritating if used in living rooms (not the case here, it seems), since it would place a mullion at eye-level when seated.

Are there open breezeways between the suites; similar to the F.B. church tower or is that an unfinished balcony? (On the left)

I hear Concord is looking for a restaurant to lease the large ground floor retail in this building..

Area really needs a grocery store - would be nice if one is coming to the Arc or the Casino - but I won't hold my breath.

Urban Fare and IGA are not that close, and Costco isn't exactly great for picking up milk and bananas.
