It's a hole, sloping down to its deepest point about 4 or 5 stories deep in the corner. Drilling equipment seems to be gone and they now have two excavators to slowly work on what will be a giant hole.

There are 3 regular sized excavators and one more that's slightly smaller at the site now. Two of them were working fast to keep a train of double dump trucks rolling. Did another Concord project recently finish?
There will be a diagonal walkway through the site, under the Cambie Bridge to the One Pacific site:
They still have the same old renderings - I wonder if the design will evolve?
One Pacific is much more organic than this one, and they are supposed to be complementary, if I recall correctly.
Golden opportunity to inject new life into this neighbourhood. with denser retail outlets coupled with open air as well as covered (Cambie bridge and ramps) public realm. It would really complement the upcoming casino, hotels and restaurants to create a whole new downtown entertainment district. These projects need to be bold and there shouldn't be any hold back on creativity.
I'll second that. What Id really like to see are some KTVs, bowling alleys/billiard halls and maybe a big arcade. They could bring back playdium! I would imagine those types of businesses would be more feasible in Richmond or Burnaby but It would be great to see them in the 'entertainment district'.
On a side note, does anyone remember a place called score? I remember it being like playdium but less video games and more sports oriented. I mentioned it to a couple friends and they don't seem to remember. Perhaps I imagined the whole thing.
