God is peeing on Calgary!

Hehe, great picture!

Also really like the Toronto subway shot. A metro set against a skyline backdrop always feels big city.

Also, what and odd collection of logos on those towers: Canadian Tire, Heart and Stroke Foundation, and Rio Can.

Now there is an only in Canada shot!

The last Toronto shot with Yonge and Eglinton in the background is pretty cool. The only part of the Y/E skyline that hasn't really changed in the last 10 years. The logo collection is total Canadiana too. The little TVO logo is at the bottom as well, I think.

From that angle, La Tour des Canadiens belongs in the Ugly thread. It almost hurts. Let's hope many more towers are build to hide it from every angles.

It just looks like a taller version or the Hilton Garden Inn from the picture just before. In other words, dull and boring.

This is an unflattering angle anyways, the city looks like it has 3 buildings.

That first shot makes Toronto look like an Arctic city.

You haven't seen temps over 30C in over two years either.

That is very misleading. In and around Vancouver, summer temperatures can be as much as 10 degrees warmer just 20 minutes away from the ocean. 30+ is not rare in many of the suburbs of Vancouver that aren't on the water. The same is true for the suburbs north of Victoria. Saanich gets pretty warm.

That being said, living in a place where temperatures rarely reach 30 is a pretty good set up. You don't need to waste money air conditioning your house, and if you want warmer temperatures you merely have to drive a few km east. And if you really like hot weather, a few hours away you can be in the interior of BC where high 30's is not uncommon. It's the best of both worlds. You can enjoy hot weather whenever you choose, and then come home to much more mild weather.

I know it might seem that way right now, but in reality, the winter will be over in only a few short months.
