they're on top of the new parking deck and will reduce energy consumption from the grid. Stadium is also hoping to use no public water - all captured and/or recycled. Aiming for the highest LEEDS cert. for a stadium. perhaps gold or platinum (?).

As much as I think the stadium has a bold striking design. I wish that when the the roof is open, it would be bigger. I feel like, you never really feel as if you are in an open air stadium.

I agree. the initial concept with the wider opening and more glass was unreal. truly an open air stadium that closes.

Also, I wanted to mention...while I was walking on Auburn Avenue, I noticed that the property located at Auburn Avenue and Bell St. has been sold. This property has been trying to sell for what seemed like years. I wonder if it means a developer has plans for it sometime in a near future. It's located right along the streetcar route. Just something to look out for. Here's a photo I took of the sign.

I do wish something would happen across West Peachtree from the BellSouth tower. However, it's my understanding that the majority of that parking-lot-besieged block is owned by the Catholic church (Jesuits) who run the school. And with their deep pockets they are in no hurry to sell. Too bad. The North Avenue station is underused and some development on this end of Midtown like we've seen further north would help that situation.

Regarding 22 14th Street, I have a connection who says the development budget was increased slightly. They are planning on May 2016.

Also they reduced the height to 15 floors so the view of Atlanta going down Peachtree may still endure if this project moves forward.

Why did they increase the budget? Architectural changes, size or has the cost has gone up for the existing plan?

They've started ripping up the parking lot at the NCR HQ site.
