A Fraser Highway at-grade alignment running diagonal to the grid would cause similar traffic tie-ups as the Edmonton example
- traffic stopped both east-west and north-south for a train to cut across the intersection diagonally.
... and if you decide to elevate the LRT - you may as well go with SkyTrain for connectivity.
