Actually, there is space enough for hundreds more large towers in the core. There is a good bit under construction now out of the 130 or so underway in The 416. The older buildings in those photos can be restored Massey Tower/Five Condo style into the base of ever larger and taller buildings.

Why would you compare Canada's economic capital and one of the biggest cities/metros in North America with Montreal? Apples and oranges.

Yeah, i don't know about that. It looks like a pumped up Mississauga to me. I"ll take quality over quantity. Montreal has that one beat.
