I saw several pallets of Tim Horton's branded product being loaded into one of the southern-most units in the Agriculture Place Shoppes.

Folks at the Green Spot have consistently said they plan to move back to the west side of Hamilton after construction - wonder if Tim's (likely) moving in changes their plan.

Also interesting to note that Sobey's made a generic statement after this announcement that implied they're interested in exploring further SK expansion... Willow Park, on the other hand said their sales are 30% below forecast (which I read to say they're not planning an expansion any time soon).

I wouldn't be shocked to see sobeys open in emerald park with their grocery store

But... theres a Tims literally a block away. If it was closer to Albert, I'd understand. But really.

There is also a Tim's across the street in the Cornwall - straight up the stairs of the RBC building.

Good god, how many Tim's are there in Regina?!!! There are now three inside of the airport terminal. Lol!

Apparently there is also one on the 12th floor of the SaskTel HQ.

It would be Starbucks all over the place if Regina's only one wasn't unionized. Tim Horton's has taken market share for sure, and I am not surprised.

Sounds like this may simply have been several pallets of Tim's coffee pods... perhaps simply using space in that building to store gifts from Harvard to tenants?

Yep - compare the number of Starbucks in Regina & Saskatoon. Main difference? Labour Relations Board rulings apply to any SB in the city of Regina.

I wouldn't be surprised to see free-standing Starbucks in White City/Emerald Park before Regina gets one (I'm fine supporting the local guys anyway - plenty of options).

Is there anyway to get Tim Horton's in Regina unionized? Wouldn't mind personally getting rid of them for real cafe's who care more about a pleasant atmosphere inside their cafe's vs the drive thru culture that is Timmies.

My local Tims knows me much the same a local coffee place would if I went to one. Always a pleasant time.

It's more of a "self serve" kiosk of sorts, but yes, it's Tim's.

I'm still waiting for the Lethbridge millionaire who bought up all the IHOP rights to AB & SK to finally open a location here. What's he waiting for? IHOP is basic chain restaurant fare but at least it would be a better option that Ricky's or Smitty's.
