One of the best aerial of St. Johns I've seen in a long time, beautiful. Reminds me a little of lower Quebec city.

Drinks at 7, dinner at 8, drinks at 9, tapas at 10, vaping at 11, bottle service at 12, meet and greet at 1, night cap at 2, and then free time with Giorgio in Parkdale. We're going to do the sex and power-sleep thing by that guru in, ah, Finland or Bali, it's so energizing, and I'll be up and at'em by 10, no problem.

Gorgeous photos, all. Love the one of the rowhouses being demolished. Sad, but beautifully done.

The Irish name for Newfoundland, Talamh an Eisc, means Land of Fish. You say it sort of like Thallah-Van-Ice.

Where did you learn that pronunciation? Someone from Munster maybe?

I would pronounce it TAHL-oo uhn AYSHK (it's a bit difficult to convey the whole broad/slender consonant thing here - the "t" and "c" sounds don't really have equivalents in English).

Wow, you're good. Almost all of our Irish settlers came from Waterford - so, yeah, Munster. I learned the pronunciation from a girl from Wexford who came here for an exchange semester at MUN and lived with Ayreonaut lol.

I'm guessing you're referring to this one? They aren't being demolished, it's just the parking lot that was behind them that is being developed.

Oh cool. And yeah, that is an amazing picture. It feels the way I want my life to feel. I could spend hours and hours right where that's taken from.

The more Hamilton I see, the more it does remind me of Montreal in several ways.

(I've never truly "been to" Hamilton, though I've passed nearby countless times.)

^Yeah, cruising over the Skyway Bridge is not 'visiting' Hamilton by any stretch. Next time, drop by for a little visit - there's way more going on that you'd think.
