That old warehouse not only hosted FADER fort, the Hope Farmers Market was held there for a couple years until it moved to a much more fitting, city owned space, Plaza Saltillo. Meanwhile across the street from this warehouse, furniture reseller TOPS moved out and
FAIR MARKET moved in. It's now a great venue for artists and live music among other events.
So while this old venue is set for demolition, two more have sprung up to take its place. I believe this trend will continue on the East Side.
Here are a couple photos I took today of the development. They are moving the tracks, the new rails are on site and ready to go.
