Regarding the Fullerton project, I have not heard this either?? I thought they did actually own the land now (old hakim optical building??)

Rygar (whoever that is) never owned the land at 100 Fullerton. They presented the project to council and the media and never even owned the friggin' land it was supposed to be built on. They still don't. Hence IMO, this project is stillborn and was always on shaky ground from day one. It also, IMO, raises a serious credibility issue: when Rygar (or rather their lawyer and planners) unveiled this proposal it was claimed that people would be living in this tower by this point in time, when in reality absolutely nothing has transpired in the field.
They apparently now do own the row of heritage buildings on Talbot next door to the 100 Fullerton property, and the crappy building next door to that at the corner of Talbot and Duffern which houses Hakim Optical. They now claim they are going to build something at that location (which would be across the street from 505 Talbot). Over a month ago they claimed they were going to unveil this new proposal "within weeks" but as of now still nothing but crickets. Whether their revised proposal even resembles their old one remains to be seen, or for that matter if there is anything more to "Rygar" than PowerPoint towers and smoke and mirrors.
