Aura's lighting is its redeeming quality. It makes the tower actually elegant and striking at night.

I give my opinions that happen to be more involved than "how tall" or "how bright". That someone continues to see forumers (again, forumers) that have different opinions than him as personal vendettas is beyond me.

As kool maudit says here, it would be more interesting if negative opinions weren't consistently received by throwing hissy fits. I don't really agree with Mr. Whipper (though I wasn't actually making a statement about the quality of the lighting on Aura), but I understand where he's coming from.

Fantastic Edmonton shots. In my humble opinion, a couple of those actually are stirring and beautiful...

Negative opinions from members, especially senior members should not use such derogatory language. His post wasn't just negative but very insulting and had no place in this discussion or any. Language like that should NEVER be used on SSP. If you can't come up with a better description for something then what he typed then maybe it's best to just not comment at all.

Everybody is entitled to an opinion negative or positive, as long as they realize it's their opinion doesn't make others wrong. Hopefully we won't see such a post again on this site.

I've never been to Victoria; those pictures makes it look like a little urban paradise, nicely dense, with lots of older architecture.

You should go, it's an amazing little city. Not only does it have some great old architecture it probably has some of the best weather in the Country.

I was very impressed when I went. Was probably my favourite of the cities I saw out west. Had all sorts of semi-hidden courtyards and alley ways filled with shops. It was very neat. Also good cheap accommodation.
