^^^ Ya I was gonna guess Yaletown as well. An old warehouse district that has been transformed into hipsterville with new towers immediately to its West.

Oh, O.K., those buildings are newer than I thought but perfectly planned. Gorgeous.

I assumed that balcony was a restaurant or something. I guess it could be an apartment.

Great pic Monolith. Sounds weird but I can almost taste the fresh ocean air in that picture. Really miss Vancouver and overdue to visit my parents.

I refer to them as "Yaletown bunnies". I had one living next door to me for a couple of years. Bleach blonde, voluptuous, Lulu Lemon wardrobe, tiny dog and a cell phone permanently attached to her ear. I managed to ask her one day in the elevator how her dog was and she said "Oh, he got run over by a truck. But it's okay, I'm getting another one tomorrow." Personally, I think the dog actually committed suicide. He saw a way out and went for it.

Thanks! The crazy thing about that angle is that almost all the highrises in the shot (17 of them) have been built in the last 10 years...13 of them in the last 5 years.
