I completely agree... That's also why I'm perplexed about Barn Hammer Brewing going into the industrial area on Wall St...

I haven't seen much movement on the Brew pub on Wall Street front. Is that still going ahead?

Also, I think this new coffee business is great. We need some diverse businesses moving in the area.

I also am a big supported of Black Pearl. "The Black Pearl" blend coffee beans are my favorite coffee.

Yeah it is, probably just slow on construction.

The 'touting your location before signing a lease' approach doesn't point to a proprietor with a great deal of business acumen.

The coffee news is very positive. Fantastic addition to the area. I feel as though I am saying that on the regular now with regard to the Exchange.

If anybody can wade through this pretension without cringing of secondary embarrassment, you're a better man than I.

Ladies and gentleman, the proprietors of Dogwood Coffee give you everything you'd expect from them conveniently in one article...

Their fall will be hard when the fad dies.

Hey, anybody want to open a tatoo removal clinic with me?

Fads come and go all the time when it comes to food and drink... if the worst that can be said about this is that it won't have the staying power of a Kelekis or The Chocolate Shop, then I don't think it's really that much of an indictment.

But whether or not their image is pretentious, you have to admit Parlour and Little Sister really do serve up top-notch coffee.

Oh, so does that mean that the condos there are actually happening? I know someone that had an event there a few months ago and they told them it was the last one they were having as the building was going to be "used for other purposes" but then there's still been some events the last little while?

Not closing down the art spaces but cracking down on the artists residing in a building not zoned for living in.

That's a good thing.

I know someone that runs a gallery downtown and it is a difficult thing to hold together. But she plays by the rules.

That might required a crane and a hole cut into the side of his house.

I have an oven at home, but I still appreciate a bakery every now and again.

Only the asshats on this forum (you know who you are) could find something negative to say about this fantastic development for the exchange. Successful business people investing money and developing a heritage building. And they made a cool video to boot.
